My work on my computer and DSM (domestic sewing machine/table topper) leads me to the center of the house. Isn’t that the best? The lady of the house is the heartbeat of the home, at least for me. Those two machines live close to each other but a few feet apart between two non delineated rooms (living/dining). I face west while on my computer, and north while sewing.
When we had our new set of doors installed last summer with 3/4 glass, I loved all the light coming through and still do. However, a set of matching wreaths enhances any fen shui while opening and walking into the house, along a red rug.
Two winter wreaths are currently on the doors minus the twinkling white lights they had on them during the Christmas holidays. They are not real branches or red berries, but look the part. It seems they are confusing the little birdies who sit on top and peck at them and the glass. For what, I don’t know.
While entrenched in my writing the other day, I heard a tap-tap-tap on the door and looked up and over. There sat a little birdie doing its thing, most likely not trying to get my attention, but she got mine. Thankfully, I had quick access to my phone and snapped a photo from my hot seat. She flew away the instant I stood up, so this is the only one I got.
I love when the birds sing and show off their stuff. Up close and personal, even better while perching on a door wreath.
Come back and sit for a spell little birdie!
bSoleille!
