Daffy Days #2 in White

There are clumps (is that the right word?) of Daffodils scattered around the front and back yards, as mentioned in a post two days ago or so. While picking up and moving some branches that fell out of the trees due to heavy winds over the last month, I noticed a bunch of white daffys (lingo for the proper daffodils) waving to me (much slighter wind today). They stood tall and mighty late afternoon, just as the sun finally peeked out from the cloud cover that hung over the area much of the day.

Actually, these daffys looked radiant in that flower sort of way. The delicate petals of these beauties seemed to shimmer like they were catching the last few rays of sunlight. I had to get down on my knees to take a closer look inside the trumpet parts and possibly heard them say, "We made it through the cold and winds; now is our time to shine!"

I can't get enough of them! Little bursts of happiness scattered in my yard and many others!

bSoleille!
