Day 17 of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Our lives were so unpredictable then that when Ryan's second relapse came into play, it was one more thing we had to take head-on. I don't say this lightly. After the first relapse, which was devasting, of course, I cried just a little with the audio edits on this one.

Again, I had to muster my game face in Chapter 17—Second Relapse—June 2004, to get through and persevere. Laughter, which was hard to come by during those days, was our best medicine wherever we could find it despite the madness and mayhem we all endured.

I continue to thank all those who played any role in our journey—even today—especially today. I've had distance since this all played out, even with the writing I did in the last few years. This has helped me use my voice in the audio recordings released in September of 2024.

Thank You!
