Flower Power

Once a year I spend about a hundred bucks on sprucing up our flower gardens. When I got home I went straight to work messing with the front yard combating all the weeds (they seem to be winning). They needed to go first before anything could get planted Which took most of the afternoon.

My main focus was the flower pots. Out with the old decaying stuff and in with the new geranium, spikes, and begonias. I bought enough variety to make up five.

Lucky for me this year was finding Marigolds on the first try. The big ones are now planted, with a few things left to plant in the next week. It was good working in the dirt, the Earth’s richness to help lead the flowers to bloom all summer long.

bSoleille!

Easter 2025

When I think about this sacred holiday, I think, "Hope Springs Eternal." The budding of all the flora and fauna around me makes me happy...
