If you've followed me from my first blog, QuiltsfromTheHeart.blogspot.com (3000 posts in 10 years), I profusely THANK YOU! Humble beginnings for sure, and I'm grateful to have learned a lot about writing/blogging/and being inspired by many people around the globe.
I'm doggone lucky that hubby Bill has been a fan of mine (and gives me ideas and inspiration to continue). He is a frequent poster on LinkedIn, IG, Substack, and his beloved TwinzTalk. He loves personal development and shares his knowledge freely on these various sites. In fact, he took an HTML online class several years ago to learn how to create his own website. ABL is what it's called: Always Be Learning. You can find Bill's website here: https://billtomoff.com/
Bill counts on learning every day. Once we started our writing endeavors in June 2020, we've never looked back. He recently shared his thoughts on writing that are too good not to include here on my blog. I feel the same way about writing, yet Bill's way of articulating it is outstanding. I hope you like his version of how it's changed our lives!

Why Write? #TwinzTalk
I recently posted to my blog and Substack about the profound impact that writing (starting consistently in June 2020) has had on my life. Thank you, @jenlouden, for the inspiration through your incredible Substack post, 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠.
Why do I write?
An unexpected life-enhancing change occurred for me starting on June 8, 2020, when my wife Terri and I enrolled in a community of practice (Writing In Community) dedicated to writing a book over six months. We committed to showing up daily for at least 15 minutes. The process took hold of us, and we both fell in love with writing, which helped us bring clarity to our world. Writing helps us make sense of our thoughts, and we both advocate for encouraging others to adopt regular writing practices!

I'm thrilled Bill loves to write, shares his thoughts, and perhaps leaves a bit of a legacy about our lives in the times we live in today and in our youth. I know this is a great gift for the future (now to find those sealable archival sleeves to put our precious copies in for generations henceforth). If we can do it, you can, too!
