I've mentioned we are pickleball-crazed over here. It's fast and fun, and we've met a great bunch of people just as crazy about playing as we are! Two-hour sessions fly by in a New York minute. Dinking is the name of the game, and there is more strategy with each bounce of the wiffle ball that keeps me/us coming back for more.
Yesterday, I played two back-to-back, two-hour sessions. I'll do the math - 4 hours on the courts! Both times were fast and furious play with awesome guys and gals. I play in open/social sessions a few times a week that is good for the soul. So do many, many others (including Hubby Bill and son Ryan)! The place we play, The Putaway in Millersville, Maryland, has sessions from 8am to 10 pm and will be going to 24 hours a day soon. I think I'll stick to the regular hours I'm used to. For those who can play all night long, all the pickleball power to them!
When I walked off the court after the first session with my partners, I asked them if we could take a picture together and post it on a blog.
All were in the affirmative. Cool beans.

Note that Karen and I are wearing goggles, and Sean must have taken his off for the picture. I wear them because it's easy to get hit in the eye, and I did a few weeks ago that dropped me to the floor! No terrible injury, thankfully, but I ordered the glasses right away.
