It's been a week since I raffled off the 2024 Christmas Quilt for Just Tryan It. (The quilt is being mailed to its new owner - Jodie Smith). Thank you to all who donated to this wonderful event! Really, I can't state that big enough! Behind the scenes, Bill and I matched up to the first $500 in donations, and one anonymous person matched the entire donation. Can you see I'm doing the happy dance as I write this good news to #helpothers?
Even better, less than a week later, this project impacted one family that reached out to the Executive Director, Maureen Coburn, upon receipt of their gift card and other goodies. Through the raffle quilt efforts, JTI was able to send out 21 grantees with a $100 Visa gift card to help them through the holiday season! When Maureen shared this information with me, I asked her if the Mom would permit me to share this information on my blog. The answer was a "Yes!"
