The rain in Spain
Stays mainly on
the tennis court
and the Euro Cup soccer pitch!
I digress with the poem, but for spirited sports fan around the world, what a day of celebrations for Spain’s phenomenal 21 year old Carlos Alcaraz winning the Wimbledon Men’s final over seasoned and experienced Novak Djokovic, and Spain winning their fourth European Cup!!
Crowing achievements and congratulations to all participants in each discipline on the tennis courts in England, and soccer pitches all across Deutschland (Germany)!
One more game (it’s finally ready to start as I write this post) to cap off two huge international soccer tournaments that started almost three weeks ago that I simply can’t get enough of!
Note: A game delay due to what I understand is overzealous and rowdy fans in Miami, Florida, as Lionel Messi and his Argentina teammates will try to beat a physical opponent in Columbia! I hope it’s a fast and furious - my favorite. I never loose interest with that type of frantic play. And let’s not forget, Argentina is ranked #1 in the world due to their World Cup in 2022.
May the best team hoist the championship trophy tonight!
bSoleille!
